About us
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with versatile skills who will be at the heart of Coinis’ activities. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Senior backend developer, you should be comfortable around most used back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and environments. You should also be a team player and have experience with multitasking. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
About your position
- Senior backend developer role in development team.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the technology tools and trends and remain current in new technology developments and their potential impact on the department.
- Mentor other team members through pair programming, code reviews, and ad-hoc assistance.
- Collaborate with engineers across the department to identify and build on improvements to our processes and systems, whilst having involvement in technical decision making.
Qualifications
- Education
-
- Bachelor’s, Specialist’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field.
- Experience
-
- 5+ years of web development experience including analysis, technical design, coding, and testing.
- Skills in order of relevance:
-
- Hands-on experience with backend technologies (preferably Python/Django)
- Good understanding of relational databases and structures
- Experience with Mysql, Postgres or equivalent
- Knowledge of Redis or equivalent technology
- Experience with nginx
- Knowledge of PHP is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently as well as with other team members
- Using best coding practices and standards
